Hey everyone!
I hope you’re all doing fantastically. I have been and it’s because I joined a Castor Oil Challenge on hairlista.com which started September 28th and ended December 28th and I must say I’m loving the results I reaped. The creator and moderator of Hairlista recently added an Ultimate Level to the challenge which I readily joined since I have a major love for castor oil.
My results were amazing!!! And I wouldn’t hesitate to join another castor oil challenge if I had the chance. Along with lightly applying castor oil to my scalp every day I also added it to my deep conditioner with heat, oil rinsed and sealed with castor oil. This regimen kept my hair moisturized for daaaaaayyyyyssssss. Castor oil is definitely going to be a staple for me. I won’t be using castor oil on my scalp every day, but most likely every other day so I don’t weigh down my strands.
Along with the castor oil I also took Manetabolism Hair Vitamins every single day for 90 days.
This combination gave me about 3-4 inches during the challenge. My hair is thanking me for the love.
If you want more information on the benefits of castor oil you can go to Black Zulu’s blog for in-depth descriptions.
Until next time, ladies and gents.
Love,
Eureka
I cant wait to start this as soon as I take down these Marley Braids! Your hair growth is so awesome and def inspiration!
Thanks!! It’s been amazing. I actually kept mine in a protective style while doing this since it was a lot easier for me.
What protective style/s did you do? And how did you go about cleansing your scalp with a protective style?
I mainly wore crochet braids so I had easy access to my scalp. I cleansed my scalp by diluting either shampoo or co-washes like As I Am and just rinsed and oiled.
Lovely!
I’m hoping on trying castor oil mixed with coconut oil, heard how that combo works and I’m willing to try.
Sadly I loathe drugs so no hair vitamins for me.
😦
I hate taking vitamins too. I always feel like I’m choking, but these have been pretty easy to take.
Also, I mix my castor oil with coconut oil all the time and I love the results. Very moisturized hair without it being weighed down.
That’s nice.
I’d go on the castor- coconut oil challenge next month.
I’m inspired by your results!
Thank you! Feel free to ask questions. Don’t be a stranger!
Bebe, remember she also took a hair vitamin every day for the 3 month duration. This result was not achieve solely by using Castor Oil 🙂
I will if I have questions. I’m currently on the challenge…
You got great result. I’m currently on a winter challenge post one month. I got some result but let’s us see by the end of 3 month. As Black Zulu mentioned above in combination with the Vit. you took we can’t attribute all the great growth to Castor oil. All the same great way to give our hair the love and care our hair needs. Keep it up. Black Zulu is one of my fan!
